How Squares works

A grid where every square is a pairing of the last digit of each team's score.

  1. 1

The host creates a grid (100, 50, 36, 25, 20 or 16 squares), names the teams and sets points per period.

  2. 2

Players join with the code and tap open squares to claim them. Hosts can assign squares to anyone, even people not on the app.

  3. 3

When the host locks the grid, numbers 0–9 are randomly drawn across the top (away) and down the side (home). On smaller grids each row or column covers more than one digit.

  4. 4

After each period the host enters the score. The square matching the last digit of each team's score wins and lights up gold.

  5. 5

Points add up on the Winners panel. Highest points take bragging rights.
